Meet Tim Geiger
Tim started April 2014 as a veterinary technician. Tim lives in Charleston’s West side with his fiancé Shaina and five children, Shari’z, Zirahia, Maliek, Jahlil, and Kamarhia. Tim has one snake, two cats, and two dogs. Tim loves all animals but snakes are his favorite. Tim specializes in grooming and dental.
Meet Shalena Haynes
Shalena started with Avalon in 2014 as a receptionist then became office manager in 2016. Shalena and her husband Justin live on Charleston's west side with their two children Charity and Bryson. Shalena is a rescue mom to their chiweenie Peanut. They also have an aquatic turtle, leopard gecko, and five hermit crabs. Shalena spends her free time as president of the PTO at her daughters elementary school and enjoys family activities.
Meet Jon Marshall
Jon started at Avalon in June 2016. He is Avalon’s Veterinary Technician. Jon lives on Charleston‘s west side with his rescue babies. He has one cat named kitty and one Labradoodle named Audie. Jhn likes to spend his free time giving back to the community and loves going on adventures with Audie.
Meet Chris Kessinger
Chris came to Avalon in 2017 as a kennel hand. He has worked his way up to veterinarian assistant and receptionist. Chris lives in cross lanes with his wife Megan and son Elijah their dogs and cats. Chris’s dog hawk won Charleston‘s largest dog award last summer. Chris spends his days at Avalon giving each border attention and taking them on walks. Chris loves spending his free time outdoors with his friends and family.
